Hi, I’m allyza (Uh-Lie-zuh).
Hi, I’m Allyza Malong — a Computer Science student at the University of Louisville with a growing passion for data analysis and problem-solving. I enjoy turning messy datasets into clear insights and creating visualizations that makes it easy to understand.
As a Computer Science student, through both coursework and hands-on experiences, I’ve developed strong analytical and technical skills in Excel, SQL, and Tableau—particularly in areas like data cleaning, reporting, and process improvement. I’m excited to continue building on those skills in the semesters ahead. Along the way, I discovered a strong interest in Data Analytics after seeing how much data drives real-world decision-making. What draws me to this field is the opportunity to make a meaningful impact—helping businesses better understand their customers and deliver more effective products and services.
Through the Global Career Accelerator program, I had the opportunity to apply my technical skills in a professional, data-driven environment. During the program, I focused on developing my proficiency in Excel and Tableau for data analysis, learning how to transform raw data into clear insights that support business decisions.
From analyzing delivery performance metrics to evaluating the success of marketing campaigns, I learned how to ask the right questions, clean and structure data, apply advanced Excel functions, and build dynamic Tableau dashboards. The experience deepened my interest in data analytics and gave me the confidence to tackle real-world problems using data.
By day, I’m a Computer Science student and aspiring data analyst. By night, I work at UPS, where I’ve learned the value of time management, teamwork, and staying focused under pressure.
Outside of school and work, you’ll probably find me at a musical, a concert, a festival, a different state (photos in this website are from my recent trip to Nashville, TN.)—or unwinding by working out or lounging at home with a good playlist.
